Clear eyes, full heart, can’t lose.

I never really was a big college football fan. I went to Western, and this was way before PJ Fleck was rowing the boat. Side note* I can’t believe he took that slogan with him to Minnesota. What a tool. 

Anywho. So College ball is canceled, Eastern Market Canceled Lions tailgate and Fall is starting to look a lot like spring. CANCELED  

THING IS. For a while now I’ve been so interested in making our home team a bigger deal. I mean, y’all we live Friday Night lights, and damn it I wanna be Buddy Garrity.

Here is what I’m saying. I know it’s probably not going to happen this year but I’m ready in case it does. 

I’m talking full out. Like full out tailgate, standing room only at the game- 6 feet apart of course  I want pick up trucks parked in the J-Lot, smokers, corn hole, families together on Friday night rooting for the home team. South could charge $100/ parking spot. What a great way to raise money for the teams.

I know, this year is not gonna be the year, but I’m ready to plan for next. Thing is about this pandemic is at the end of the day I really hope it continues to bring us back together as a community. I’m well aware there is a lot to process right now, but sometime soon I hope to tailgate in the J-Lot with you. I’ll be the guy with his belly painted blue and gold, sneaking a white claw in my yeti.
